The Jiggy
break project was created as a practical, effective
stress management tool by Joy Taylor, Natural Health
Practitioner and Feng Shui Consultant
.
The common thread throughout her work is removing
unnecessary stressors and creating healthy supportive
environments.
“There’s so
much talk today in business about the huge problems caused by
stress” says Joy “It’s spoken about as if our only option
is to watch as our workplaces slowly degenerate. The truth is,
there’s always something you can do to improve a seemingly
hopeless situation. We believe the first step to preventing
this problem escalating further is to take control, stop being
passive and actually DO SOMETHING about it, however small and
insignificant that thing may seem.”
The ‘Jiggy
break’, if properly installed into the workplace culture is
small enough to ‘fit in’ to a busy workload, and effective
enough to make a big difference over time to the stress levels
and well being of ‘sedentary’ workers.
